What does a Bookkeeper do?
A bookkeeper records the financial transactions of your business.
Keeping track of your sales and purchases, reconciling your bank account and predicting your cash flow.
Organising your financial data on a regular basis.
All of these transactions will be recorded in a standard way so that your Accountant can easily compile your annual accounts.
If you own your own business I am sure you are passionate about running it and concentrating on the tasks you love doing, but not so interested in recording all the details of every financial transaction.
One of our customers is a garden designer. Julie is a highly creative person who loves planning and designing gardens, she enjoys buying the plants and materials for each job and then project managing the installation. But I know she won’t mind me saying that keeping track of the job expenditure, time sheets of staff and managing her cash flow is not something she enjoys doing, or is quick at. Pulse has helped Julie to keep these transactions up to date, giving her the information she needs to drive her business forward and accurately cost out future jobs. This allows her more time to do the things she enjoys doing.
I’m sure you’ll agree her designs are beautiful:-
